“No… I believe they usually ask, they usually ask you like what are you, Hispanic? Are you Latino? They didn't even ask me that. They just assumed. At that time it didn't really make me feel like anything because I was going through a lot in my life, but now that I think about it like why wouldn't they ask me that? Were they just assuming and marking me down. How about if I don’t look like my ethnicity? How about if I'm something else? So now that I think about it I just wanted to get it over with like okay well it's just another number another youth, another troubled youth let’s just get this over with and incarcerate them.”
